So I'm trying to pack my hospital bag... I have hundreds of pampers nappies under the stairs however I also have lots of sample packs of the Aldi Mamia size 1 nappies and was considering putting these in instead of opening some of the pampers. I have heard they are very good but would appreciate some opinions? Also if anyone rates the Mamia wipes too, please let me know? Thanks!

DD is 9 weeks old, I have used the following since birth-
Aldi,
Sainsburys
Huggies
Pampers.

I much prefer the Aldi ones of all them- apart from the price- the appear to 'fit' better and dont get all 'soggy' and heavy

Thank you - so are they not the cheapest of the ones you listed?

I loved the boots ones.. Bit snugger than pampers and got on three for two.. Also few points too. But the indicator line is a bit rubbish

DS is currently in Mamia and has been in them, mostly, since he was born. They are top quality IMO. And it's around a fiver for a big pack of about 50 (depending on the size you need).

the aldi wipes are fab my little girl has sensitive skin and these are gentle on her eczema and also they are thicker than the leading brands plus a great price i would really recommend them. i find asdas little angels nappies are brilliant too i used pampers 7 years ago with my first and they were great but when i had my second 5 years later i noticed they had gone down in quality and switched to asda.

Thanks all. That's answered my question. Ill use the samples of Mamia nappies and wipes for my hospital bag and then I can try different brands and make my own mind up one baby has arrived and is home. Thanks all so much.

One last question - are body suits the same as sleep suits or is there a difference ?

Body suits are the vests :-) sleepsuits are full legs and all
