Just that really Sad 37+3 with dc1 and feeling fed up now!

Saw mw yesterday (but not my usual lovely one) and baby's head is low but free Sad for some reason I feel upset about this - I know I'm being ridiculous and some babies fon't engage until labour but still Sad

Think I feel worse because I keep getting random sciatica like pains in my groins which stop me in my tracks - ouch! Plus I feel like something is poking my cervix and I get mild period type aches right at the bottom of my bump Hmm

I have acid reflux but gaviscon makes me sick so stuck with chewable rennies.

Plus baby has bruised my sternum and one of my ribs and it's so painful no matter what I do Sad

So much still to do before baby arrives as well so should probably stop moaning and do something lol

Anyone else fed up? X

Holy crap I was literally just about to post a ridiculously similar thread!! I feel like we might be having identical pregnancies except I am only 36 weeks + 1 day.

I have the rib pain - it has been terrible but is better now as I think baby has started to drop a bit. Reflux is terrible and has made me so burpy (I HATE BURPING) and it is just uncomfortable & I agree - the liquid gaviscon stuff is horrible. I don't know if what I've been having is sciatica but I do get these random like twinges that run right across my hip bones. I've also been having Braxton Hicks (at least I think that is what it is) and they are fairly uncomfortable.

SO YES, I am also fed up and know that in another week & a bit I'm sure I'll be even more so. I'm still at work for another 2 weeks and just wishing I could finish sooner (trying to hold on until the very last minute for financial reasons!)

What do you have left to do? Are you working? Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl? I'm mega bored at work BTW! xx

Oh also I've been crying about everything this week. Wednesday I had to leave work around 10am because I started crying and literally couldn't stop.

Things I've cried about:

  • I love my favourite pen.
  • A friend of mine got diagnosed with typhus (it isn't contagious but I was paranoid I'd have contracted it!)
  • Husband sent a text saying he'd like to start his own business (WHEN DO YOU INTEND TO DO THIS? Was my very kind reply...)
  • Dinner was going to be a bit late.

I also started crying last night because the husband went out for a run (I ran before pregnancy but have stopped since being preggo) and then went to the pub and I started crying because I said it isn't fair that he still has the energy to do all these things and I don't...

Oops that was meant to be I lost my favourite pen. I'm not that emotional that I am crying because of how much I LOVE my pen... LOL.

Aww thanks for the sympathy yankee and sorry you're feeling rubbish too!

I'm lucky that I have finished work now but we have been renovating our house so lots still to tidy/clean and we are painting our room before I can put baby's crib in there.

Don't know what we're having - do you?

Need to finish washing baby clothes and moses basket cover but hospital bags are packed now at least.

I also know what you mean about crying - I cried last week because the dishwasher flooded and leaked water over the kitchen floor!

Hopefully neither of us have long to wait to meet our babies Smile x

Well my manager just asked what I wanted as a maternity present so now I am having fun searching for something nice to ask for. Smile

We are having a little boy! I couldn't resist and had to know. I have also washed all the baby clothes and put them away - probably the first and only time I've enjoyed doing laundry! Nursery is pretty much ready - well there is still a bit to do, need to buy shelving, curtains, lamp shade & a rug. But I know baby won't be in there for some time so there isn't too much of a hurry.

Hospital bag is packed - which was a point of much frustration as I just read way too many forums and articles about what to pack and ended up with a bag the size of a small vehicle.

& that sounds like a perfectly legit reason for crying!!!
