When did you have your '20 week' scan?

I got my 20 week scan booked in for the 23rd December when I'll actually be 22 weeks.
The nhs website said it's normally done between 18-21 weeks. I know the 12 weeks scan couldn't be done too late or they wouldn't be able to do all the tests, is it the same for this one? Should I be concerned?

I had mine at 22 weeks and all the tests were fine. It's not quite so time sensitive for this scan as for 12 weeks. I presumed it was because the hospital were so busy, but I also have a BMI of just over 30, and apparently with a high BMI it can be harder to see everything they need to at 20 weeks. Not saying that's the case for you though!

I had mine at 20 weeks but it had to be repeated at 22 weeks because the baby was in an awkward position the first time and the sonographer couldn't check its kidneys properly. It was fine at 22 weeks. Still fine for measurements etc.

I've had them as late as 24 weeks before, and as early as 18 weeks, but yes, the NHS likes them as close to 20 weeks as possible. It isn't hugely time sensitive as has been mentioned.

Mine was spot on 20 weeks this time, for the first time in four pregnancies!

It would have been more convenient for me date wise to do it at 19+6 but they wouldn't do it early even by a day, they didnt mention it being a problem if it was later though.

I had mine today at spot on 19 weeks all was fine

My hospital was very anal about my 20 week scan date, and I had to rush to the hospital from the airport as that was apparently the best and almost the only day it was supposed to be done!

I was 20+4.

Mine is booked for 20weeks and 6days.

My hospital does then between 20-23 weeks. My last one was at 22weeks.
