Could baby be kicking me in the cervix?

I'm 23 weeks, and have been feeling movement mainly at the front for the last couple of weeks.

Today I haven't really felt anything until now, and it feels like I'm being booted in the cervix. Is this normal, should it be uncomfortable?

Or is this something I should worry about?

Normal. Is it quite a sharp shooting upwards sort of pain?

I'm also 23 weeks and just said to dh it feels like it is kicking me in the vagina, I am having all sorts of kicks and sometimes it feels like it is actually kicking me in my pelvic bone. At time the kicks make me feel a bit nauseous. Sure all normal, had in my other 2 pregnancies, still feels bit weird though.

Just wait until baby is a bit bigger and you can feel its head bopping about down there! It's bizarre and can be a bit uncomfy.
It sounds like you're experiencing something really normal, although, as with anything you're unsure about, especially if you're experiencing any uncomfortableness or pain you should drop your MW a line and get reassurance.

Does it feel like you're being stabbed in the cervix with a screwdriver?

If it does, then yes. That's a kick (or elbow, or in the later weeks of my pregnancy DS bouncing up and down).

I'm getting the same sort of kicks very low down, and sometimes I can feel them in my bottom too! Baby was breech at 20 week scan so hope he turns around in time as I don't fancy a breech birth.

Yep, sounds about right. Last pregnancy was awful for kicks. Baby kicked my liver so hard and so often it was displaced and stopped working properly. She was a particularly long baby. And very active. Little bugger.

This only gets worse ladies!! I'm 40++ now and it is agony when they give a good thump down there! Grin At first I didn't think it was all normal... But yes, it is GrinSmile
