Stretch marks are really itchy!

Im 32+2 and only got my stretch marks 3 weeks ago....the past few days they have become really itchy on my stomach and i try to itch lightly.

Im scared im going to do something and make them bleed but its so irritating!! Iv also noticed a couple of tiny little spots literally so small and only a few.

I had a midwife appointment a few days ago she saw my belly and didnt say anything about the spots. I have only started to worry because how bad the itching is now.

Getting a bit worried can anyone give me some advice this is first pregnancy and im only 19 so and scared theres something wrong.

I'm no expert but itchy skin is a fairly common pregnancy symptom I think, with or without stretch marks, and if your midwife saw the spots and didn't comment I'd guess they're most likely nothing to worry about. Give her a call tomorrow, though, and double check if you're concerned.

I'm no expert, but it could be PUPPP, which is a very common skin rash in pregnancy which starts in stretch marks. I had it with DD and it started at around 35 weeks and stopped about 2 weeks after birth. If it is PUPPP it's totally harmless but bloody annoying! However, I'd mention it to your mw just in case, itching can be caused by lots of things and its best to be cautious.
