Mucus plug?!

So, a couple of hours ago, I lost my mucus plug.
I'm absolutely sure it was it because it was like a giant glob of snot....ewwww gross.

So I was just wondering, how many of you went into labour after this happening?
There was no blood in it at all...,

Started to get tightenings in the last half hour too.
I so hope something is happening!!

Think it can vary

With 2 of mine contractions started a few hours after losing plug (same as you describe)

With the other I lost it and nothing happened for days!

I lost my plug about 7/8pm and my waters went about 9pm ish. Didn't have contractions for a good few hours tho.

I lost my plug at about 8pm Thursday evening, waters broke at 3am, dd2 arrived 9pm on the Friday. Good luck!

It's my due date today too!

Well I lost mine a full month before my waters broke and labour started. It was clear no blood. I then had a bloody show a few days before my waters broke. I hope you're more like the others on here than me!

Well, having another tightening as we speak so feeling hopeful although only time will tell.
Knowing my luck, it will all stop but I'm trying my best to be optimistic :)

7 hours of contractions, 7 HOURS!!..gradually got down to 7 mins apart and 50 seconds long. Then guess what! They stopped!!

I'm so annoyed, I'm having DHs last can of lager and he can suck a chobber if he's got a problem with it!

Aww Rhibeetee really, really feel for you. I went 16 days over with dc1 and 4 days over with dc2. Hoping it will be third time lucky for a 38/39 week pregnancy for me, especially as I'm due on Christmas day.

I feel your pain! 16 days over with ds1, 12 with ds2....induced both times...
Now 3 days over and was REALLY hoping this was it....

It's just so frustrating! You're due an early baby...fingers crossed for you!
