Oh yes. This time, and last time. Last pregnancy they started at 20 weeks and stayed achey right until I delivered DS. This time, they started aching at 19 weeks and miraculously have mostly stopped aching since 27 weeks. No idea why.

They are/were agony at night when the ache would turn into full blown cramp.

Sleep with pillows between your knees and ankles, that's the only thing that helped me at all.

will def try the pillow thing.
mine aren't really hurting at the moment, just this awful aching feeling. it's really annoying lol.
hopefully it'll clear up like yours has!

How far along are you?
Other tips I've had are:

  • Eat bananas for the potassium
  • a small 'shot' of tonic water before bed
  • warm baths
  • raise legs when laying down

Hopefully yours won't get any worse and will go away soon!!

Not very sexy, but you could try support tights during the day, they help a lot with aching legs. You can get them in mothercare or online at Maman JoJo Bebe. Light support tights feel fIne, no different to normal, except they stay up better!
