18 weeks and Feeling very down about heomatoma

Hi I'm feeling really down ATM about my heomatoma has anyone else had the same? Basically I had some light brown bleeding at 5 weeks had and early scan and nothing so thought it was just implantation bleeding. I then went for my routine 12 weeks scan and the same day I started getting brown bleeding again. It gradually got a bit worse throughout the week and on the Friday I lost a huge clot and flooded. I went to A&E and they thought I had miscarried. They scanned me on the Tuesday after and to my surprise baby was happy and still there. I was told I had a 4 c, heomatomer no one seems to be worried about it but me, when I had a another scan it had got a cm smaller. I bleed for about a week like a period and then it turned back brown. I'm now 18 weeks and still bleeding on and off every week, and now I'm starting to think it will never heal. Just when I think it's stopping it turns red again and now it's really starting to get to me. I'm constantly worried about it and won't really go out unless I have to incase I flood like I did at 12 weeks. :'(

I had a haematoma and had bleeding on and off from 6 weeks. My bleed got bigger between a 7 week scan and my 12 week scan and was 5cm x 2cm. When I went for 20 week scan it had completely disappeared, had been reabsorbed by my body. I had a straight forward pregnancy from there on. Hope everything goes well for you.

Sad that sounds stressful.
I had a placenta heomatoma at the beginning of my pregnacy which kicked off with a huge hemorage I too was shocked when the scan showed a happy baby.

Did you get a second scan? I did 2 weeks later which showed it was pretty much drained. Its horrible feeling like you your walking around with a ticking time bomb.

That's adsactly how I feel, I had another scan at 15 weeks which showed it was slightly smaller but haven't had one since and I'm 18 weeks now and still bleeding on and off :(

I can see why it's getting you so down since its smaller now you may not have much longer.
Mine seemed very small in the 2nd scan but I haven't had any bleeding since 9/10 weeks I fully expect a mini flood at some point.

I did notice I wasn't leaving the house much, fear of having another hemorage, so I'm trying to get out for a walk each day to help with the cabin fever.

I know everyone dismisses it as harmless but it doesn't feel that way when its happening to you. The last thing you ever want to see when pregnant is blood.

That's it, it's nice to talk to people who have had the same experience, I had a hospital appointment today and they wouldn't give me a scan to see what it was doing so just have to wait another 2 weeks for 20 week scan.
