I have been having aches and pains since the 21 week. I am now 23 weeks and have berm having lower back and abdominal pain coupled with intermittent watery discharge and am on holiday :(. Any idea what could be happening? I have been feeling movements but still feel very worried

Could be a UTI, are you on holiday in the uk or abroad? Can you see a dr?

Don't panic. It could be a UTI or just the impact of a warmer/ colder climate/ travel on your body. I'd recommend seeing a doctor, just to be on the safe side. Whereabouts are you? Are you in the EU? Or elsewhere?

SuchaFattyCatty · 05/11/2013 09:38

I am outside Europe. Will try and see a doctor

Good. All the best. Xx

Pain is still there, had an ultrasound and baby seems ok so far. The docs are keeping me under observation but said that if it's a threatened miscarriage they can't do anything :( really worried now.

Try not to panic. Increased discharge not unusual in pregnancy. And pain too as body shifts with baby.

Have they checked cervix to see if uterus still closed ie that it is not waters leaking?

Are they keeping you in hospital?

charitymum · 05/11/2013 16:20

Was UTI test negative?

Spaghettinetti · 06/11/2013 07:17

Thinking of you. X

I doubt it's of any help, but I know what it's like to go something like this abroad. I'm sure that the doctors will do the best they can for you.
