To phone or not to phone?

Today I am 41wks, yesterday at 1pm I had a clear show and started with contractions around 4pm every 6-20 mins, then I had another red/brown show today at 9am and contractions between 5-10 mins ever since.

I always thought I would wait until my contractions were consistently every 5mins to phone triage, but now I'm in this situation I find myself doubting!!

Should I phone the hospital or not?

No harm in calling, they will either stall you and say wait at home for a bit longer, or tell you to come on in. Sending you positive vibes for a nice straightforward birth!

Give them a call, they prefer to know that you'll be in sometime within the next 24/48hrs. Good luck

Thank you ladies for advice.
I have just phoned them and they have asked me lots of questions and they are happy with how I am doing and I am to stay at home as long as possible, unless I am unable to cope with contractions or my waters break etc.
It has put my mind at ease just phoning them.
Hopefully baby will show soon xx
