Hi everyone I am 9weeks pregnant with my first baby, sadly miscarried one twin at 6weeks as i had a scan at 7 weeks but they found one heartbeat; I haven't really experienced alot of symptoms just sore breasts however the past few days they have disappeared and felt normal, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Should I be worried & contact my gp? Any advice would be much appreciated,Thanks ladies :)

No, don't worry. Symptoms come and go. Some people don't experience any at all. It's definitely reassuring if you do have some symptoms so I can understand your worry, but honestly, it doesn't mean anything Smile

Sorry for your loss, I experienced the same at 8 weeks with my first pregnancy, it is scary and sad.

I went on to have DD, so the loss of one does not mean it all has to end.

Re: loss of symptoms, a midwife would likely tell you not to worry and wait and see at 12 weeks for your dating scan - losing symptoms is a very very unreliable way to assess your pregnancy, but if you are really concerned and finding it stressful you can always request a scan or go to your GP to see if they are able to locate the heartbeat there for reassurance. Some surgeries will accommodate you, others won't.

Try to stay positive and not worry if you can, sending you unmumsnet hugs

Try not to worry, I'm in (almost) the same boat. 9+4 today and seemingly symptom free, even though my only symptoms have been very mild anyways. Some people go their entire first trimester without anything out of the ordinary, no illness, strange cravings, etc.

Do you have your date for nuchal scan? Focus on that and try to forget the worry. Distract yourself with other things if you find yourself dwelling.

Hi Jessica Im also in a similar position. Im 9 weeks and apart from very tender breasts, which has eased significantly now Im not feeling many other symptoms. Had the abdominal cramping but my morning sickness was fleeting. i am also worried my scan will show no baby. We just need to stay positive and hope for the best. Hope baby is ok, keep ys posted with news x
