Tmi alert
I went to hospital last week and they don't a swab had the results back and it said I have really bad thrush (though I'm not itchy or anything cos it's quite high up)
Im 33 weeks pregnant u put in the pessary at about 10 pm last night. 1st nov
It's now 3:45am and my lower tummy hurts so much I can barely move it like crampy period pain
Or like when you've pulled a muscle an hurts to move. I could actually cry.
Is this usual for thrush treatment (never had thrush before) or should I be worried. Baby has been moving. I feel really Sick aswell.

I'm sorry but I don't know. I didn't want to leave your post unanswered. I think I would phone your labour ward and ask for their advice. It may well be nothing but I think you should seek some professional advice.

I hope all is ok x

AndIFeedEmGunpowder · 02/11/2013 04:01

You poor thing. I would call your labour ward immediately and speak to the midwife. I think they will want to see you ASAP. x

KateCroydon · 02/11/2013 04:41

That's not normal for thrush. Call your labour ward NOW.

brettgirl2 · 02/11/2013 07:51

I hope u have called labour Ward and are being checked out?

Peanutsmummy2be · 02/11/2013 09:29

Never heard of that happening before, please call labour ward & get checked xx

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 02/11/2013 09:33

Is it a pessary that was prescribed?

Agreement you need to phone the maternity triage now. Number should be written or on a sticker on your green notes. If you can't see it, just google the main hospital number and they will direct you

Stom91 · 02/11/2013 09:54

Hi I rang them and she thinks it's ligament pain and where everything is starting to soften
I'm still in pain now but they said of it gets worse or I'm worried still to call back

It's just weird how I was fine until I put the pessary in.

Feel so wiped out from the pain. I hope it eases
Can safely say I've had enough of being pregnant now lol
Thanks for your concern x

Did you use the applicator to put tbe pessary in? You are suppoed to insert with finger so its doesnt irritate the cervix. Ive used them several times in pregnancy and been fine. Id just contact labour ward again if the cramps continue.

Stom91 · 02/11/2013 12:45

Yeah used my fingers as someone else said the same so didn't wana use the applicator.
I'm ok as long as I don't move lol
