I am 34 +6 with my second son, I've been having regular tightenings since 26 weeks. Painful tummy and sometimes uterus is so tight I can't move. Hospital said it was an irratable uterus. It's happening daily almost all day and its just like my early stage of labor with my 1st. The midwife shrugged it off and even though I'm in pain, feel nauseous 24/7 and have had this for weeks every day getting worse. No one seems to be bothered. Does anyone have experience of this.. I've also got a isolated single umbilical artery from me to baby. And strep B positive. Any similar stories could put me at ease!

All three of my term pregnancies were like this. All I can offer is sympathy.

My mw does say that she finds women who suffer in this way (strong uncomfortable BH) are less likely to suffer haemorrhage though. Brew
