Feeling fully engaged?

Last night I was talking to a lady who asked if the baby is fully engaged yet (I'm 30weeks), and she said you can feel it when he is. I never got round to asking her what that feeling is. Can any of you take a guess of the feeling of being fully engaged?
Is it the feeling when you feel extremely heavy quite down low and you have to waddle around and feel like you want to physically put your hands under your belly to lift it up? My baby moves around a lot so I get this some evenings but not constantly.

You feel like you are walking around with a watermelon stuck between your legs. But 30 weeks would be really early to feel like that, even on your first pregnancy.
If you feel down low near your pelvis on your tummy you might be able to feel the head (it's like a really hard ball).

That would indicate the baby is head down, but you probably won't be locked and loaded fir some time yet!
