How quickly did your third babies come along? From first pains to end?

I've been having bowel movements for the past 4 hours and am experiencing a weird back ache right now. I can't be sure if its labour pains or actual backache. I haven't had a show or anything.

If it is labour, how quickly did yours progress with your third baby?

I'm on day five of those pains with DC3.

FC for both of us though!

My dc3 was really fast woke up with contractions at 5:30ish had her at 7:27 no warnings or anything(not that id noticed was in middle of moving house) mucus plug went about 3 days prior that's all I remember having.

was in waiting to be induced, midwife did an internal, told me I was 3 cms (quite common in 3rd pregnancies apparently) and would i like her to break my waters.) She did, and I gave birth 1.5 hours later (dh only just made it in time, wasn't expecting to be induced that evening!)

Shit...watching with interest as I'm due DC3 in January and am convinced I won't make the hospital (45 mins away) in time. Half an hour?! Oh my goodness.

So it looks like it happens quite quickly. I think I had a dodgy stomach yesterday from the coke I've been drinking.

Is it true that third labours hurt the most too? Because someone told me it hurts more than the first two but is over quicker. Really don't know why I'm asking this. .

Mine was the least painful out of 4, and dm and mil both said their 3rd was least painful too.

Mine did fit the painful but quick description . Although it was no worse than dc1. Dc2 was def least painful.

Five hours

under 2 hours from first pain to baby. waters had gone the day before though. previous labours were 4-5 hours so fairly quick anyway.

About 15 minutes

However, I don't get pains or noticeable contractions, I just get a sudden gush of waters followed by a baby, the second was the same too.

1.5 hours total. Pain was not as bad as the first pg and it was over very quickly.
(Arrived at hospital and DC3 born 35mins later)
