Hi,

So we had my inlaws over for dinner today and MIL was talking about the latest scan photo and how she had been showing her sister it, I mentioned that you can get 3D/4D ones that are good but often pricey and MIL really wanted to do it...sooo we called up and booked an appointment for Monday afternoon, which is great and really exciting but...

I'm 35 weeks and the woman on the phone said they only do up to 32 weeks because if he's too big the pics won't be that good. We agreed to attend anyway because she said if the photos aren't good we won't be charged anyway and they will just stop so there's nothing to loose really. Also I have been having additional scanning during the pregnancy anyway and my last one was only last week soooo scanning him isn't a problem I don't think.

Now I'm just wondering if anybody has had one of these done after 32 weeks and if it went well? I know different areas do things differently and there's a lot of companies for private scanning so I'm hopeful that perhaps there's some good experience out there of woman having had one done further along. I'd really like it if it goes well lol Smile

Thank you Smile I've managed to find some good pics online of 35/36wks which is reassuring, just hoping that he's laying in a good position and all goes well, excited nervous lol...I'll let you know how it goes Smile

It actually went really well! Smile
He had an arm up covering his face for most of it but we managed to get some great photos and really it was just such a wonderful experience seeing him again and in such detail too! Grin
