Shell on prawns in pregnancy?

I bough myself a nice tasty pint of shell on prawns today, and then realised I wasn't sure if I can eat them! Sad

Any ideas please? I'll be 11 weeks pregnant tomorrow.

Thanks!

According to NHS choices prawns are now fine as long as they are cooked

Yep fine- prawns are always cooked- unless they say 'uncooked' and are grey due to not being cooked.

Yep all seafood is fine as long as its cooked well :)

I've not seen anywhere that does a pint of prawns in about 15 years...I want! Where can I find this place?

BroodyTroody · 26/10/2013 21:36

Ah thank you!

I was too scared and ended up giving them away to my dad, DH won't eat them!

I got them from a market in Essex, where I live Grin

Damn it Sad Essex is much too far to go to pig out on prawns. (sulks)
