Vivid recurring dream

Now I know it's a really common thing to deal with during pregnancy, but will it keep happening until I'm full term?

I'm 19 weeks tomorrow, and since probably 8-10 weeks I've been having odd dreams on and off. Last night was the second time I had the same dream as I did around that time. It's more of a nightmare really, and I feel totally exhausted when I wake up from it. Has anyone else had a reoccurring dream throughout pregnancy, and if you have did you dream the same dream after you had your baby and your hormones had calmed down...?

I did! It stopped after DD was born.

I was trying to protect a warthog from being hunted. It was often very violent and sad. My Dr surmised it was my motherly instinct kicking in.

Hope you're ok today!

Wow! That's weird!!! Well mine doesn't seem to be maternal just a bit fooked up! My dh, me, and family are riding bikes on this huge lush green hill, then plummet off the end, literally skimming off of the edge of the hill into the sea. Then loads of terrorist looking men are trying to shoot us. We manage to get to some land, into a cave where they're more waiting and it's basically like they're trying to torture us and other people Confused I feel really weird today if I'm honest. Not sure if anyone else gets the weird feeling after a nasty dream, but I don't feel right Hmm

I'm no expert...but maybe it's a nervousness/fear of the unknown?

K8eee · 26/10/2013 22:04

That would sort of make sense! I'm dreading going to bed tonight Grin

Hi again-hope you're doing okay. Have you mentioned your dream to your partner?

K8eee · 27/10/2013 10:27

Yeah I mentioned it to him, but he had no interest Grin

Ha...well I assure you, you aren't the first or last woman to have weird pregnancy dreams. Could you join any antenatal groups by you?
