Feeling very sorry for myself

Im into day 3 of an induction - its not working and I'm totally pissed off at being monitored and prodded and poked and examined. I have early stage preeclampsia.

Just had the third load of gel and need to wait for 6 hours for a final exam before they decide whether to send me home for a rest day then start again or to do a c section.

I've been a good patient up til now but am totally hacked off and very grumpy. I think all the midwives who are on today think I'm a total cow bag. They must've had a shift / holiday change as the ones I'd built relationships with over the last few days aren't here.

It's not fair.. Has anyone else been here / have words of wisdom?

not been there, but I too am a cowbag today. I am overtired and hungry but nothing is what I want to eat.

Hope it works this time for you. Just remember you get newborn snuggles so very soon is not jealous of you at all I still have 8 weeks till my EDD and I have had enough

Oh dear Blankiefan - sounds awful I think you can be forgiven for being a cow bag!! I know it's hard but just try and stay focused on the positive that within the next few days you will have your baby and all this will have been worth it! Do you know wha sex you are having? Is it your first??

It's my first (& last - definitely not doing it again!!!) - don't know the sex yet...

Thanks for your support - feeling a bit more positive now - went for a walk earlier and contractions started. Doc's just had - good old (painful) poke around and plan is to break my waters tomorrow...

Your not being a cowbag... everyone only has so much patience before it turns into the grumps.

I would suggest to just bite your tongue & speak up if they are rude to you.
