I am an eating machine

Been up since 6 this morning and have already eaten:

two slices of toast
banana
orange
yoghurt
cereal bar

I am eyeing up the chocolate. I'm bloody starving today. Little one is obviously having a growth spurt.

Anyone else constantly eating?

Whispermen, I'm the same today. I've already eaten porridge, toast, a chopped up carrot, yoghurt and I'm planning a trip to the tuck shop here at work to get a biscuit. Double choc of course.
Little bump is wriggling away like mad, feels like I can't eat enough!

i've had to start knitting to stop me eating the chocolate haha. It wouldn't be so bad, but we have hardly any food in so if I eat it all I have nothing for the rest of the week.

I love my food but now baby is growing he is taking up all my abdomen space and my stomach has no room to stretch!! Even if I feel really hungry I'm only managing to eat about half the amount of a meal that I normally would Smile

Before this pregnancy I lived happily on Slimming World, never snacked, rarely ate crap.

Today I had a bacon roll for breakfast, a jam doughnut at toddler group, 3 biscuits, McDonald's for lunch, a bread roll with butter mid afternoon, some ham, a chicken breast, baked potato and peas for dinner and half a packet of wine gums.
Beat that.

This is my fourth DC. I've learned now that during pregnancy my food-related willpower just disappears. Which is why I gain around four stone I suppose. After the birth when things have settled, my willpower returns and I can cheerfully follow a restricted calorie and high exercise routine for as long as a year and shift the weight. But fat chance (ha ha) during pregnancy. Just shows how powerfully hormones can affect things like willpower - who knew? Probably not a healthy way of going about it - big gains and losses are not ideal, but it really is difficult to eat less for me in pregnancy. Really really difficult.

I have moments of ceaseless starvation where I just eat and eat and eat... I am hoping the baby is using up the food...? Grin
