I'm 28+5 and the past few nights I've woke up and my breathing is really heavy. I'm have 3 pillows so I'm not laying completely flat, is this anything of concern?? Xx

I am 28 weeks and starting to breath much more heavily at night (& snoring more, which my husband likes to point out a lot!). I have put it down to the uterus taking up much more room now, which then makes it seem like shortness of breath.

Totally normal, when I was pregnant I had the same and I also read up to 40% of women start snoring in pregnancy so you're not all unusual :-)

Wait til you get reflux waking you up, that was the strangest thing and frightened the life out of me before I realised what it was Grin

Thanx ladies, took me ages to fall back to sleep as I was so aware of my breathing!! Oh joys of pregnancy, I look forward to the snoring
