Implantation bleed would be my guess and the cramping could be that as well. I had terrible cramping pains very early on, I'm due next month. I'm sure there are lots of others that have experience with spotting, seems quite common early on. The sickness has plenty of time to rear it's ugly head yet Smile

Hi Angelfifi I'm in exactly the same boat as you only got bfp yesterday so I'm about 4+5 and today had on and off extremely light brown spotting and a bit crampy, I've previously had 4 miscarriages so I'm really nervous I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's just burrowing in hopefully that's all it is for you.

Implantation bleeding/spotting usually occurs something like 5-10 days after conception.

Your uterus may shed some of the excess lining that would have all come away with af, around the time af was due i.e. now.

Try to relax and stay calm. Bleeding in pregnancy should be checked out if you start to bleed lots of fresh, bright red blood.

Fwiw, I spotted throughout my first trimester with dd2. A lot of the time, it's hormones.

Hope it all works out Smile
