How to get through final weeks when impatient?

Am 34 weeks and getting really impatient already. This is dc2 and with dd I was 40 weeks when she stopped moving, cue dash to hospital one evening, emcs due to reduced oxygen levels and the midwives all telling me it was a good job I didn't wait til the morning as who knows what would have happened to her Confused. Have anaemia which was missed on blood test nearly seven weeks ago until midwife noticed by chance the results a week ago Angry. So now I'm practically willing this baby to come early as getting all horrible thoughts about something being/going wrong again and just want baby out safe now. How did anyone else try to relax through final weeks?

I'm trying to keep myself busy by sleep

Sorry pressed too soon.

I'm trying to keep busy by sleeping, cleaning, playing with DS during the day.

I made some lamb and vegetable soup today and froze three tubs.

I can't imagine how stressful it might be for you this time.

I know the feeling well. I had dd2 in June and the final few weeks were awful.

I really wish I had spent some more time doing one to one activities with dd1 because I hardly get a chance now

I also regret not going to the cinema or just for a walk by myself

Sleep as much as you want and have as many lazy days as you can fit in - watch box sets, films and crap TV because it will be difficult when your baby is here

Good luck Smile

Thank you all pregnancy can feel sooo long sometimes but yes one day at a time is the best way to think.
Think I also may be too organised as a lot of Xmas shopping done already lol Smile. Forgot about stocking up the freezer though that'll make a good distraction.

I'm paranoid anyway and can feel guilty I can be too tired with dd sometimes, do wish I could go to sleep and wake up with the baby there.

Can I just add I bow to you that have more than one child and pregnant, I've found it hard with one to deal with Grin x
