Funky smelling pee..!

For a few weeks now my urine has had a very strong smell, it's a bit funky to say the least
Had a urine test few wks ago have come back clear. It's not painful just a bit smelly, can't really describe it, but it's definitely not a normal urine smell IYSWIM. Its very strong first thing in the morning and then lessons over the course of the day.

I drink plenty of water, any advice? Not sure if I should trouble my GP/ MW over it, I'm 27wks today if that matters.

Mine smells a bit like period sometimes. I can just imagine you shoving a pot of wee under their nose to smell!
If you're not having any other symptoms and the test came back clear then I would try not to worry.

I think sugar puffs smell is a sign of sugar in your wee so may be worth getting checked

Strong wee smell in morning sounds like dehydration. I find even if I drink more than I think I need to its sometimes not enough

In the past doctors used to taste the wee for sugar!

Get it checked by MW. I had proteinuria (sign of pre eclampsia) and swore I could smell the ketone, but MW said that was impossible. (I could. Confirmed second pregnancy.)

At my last urine test I had no sugar in my urine. I had a blood glucose test earlier in the week as I make big babies {ouch} so hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Have no idea what it smells like, really can't put my finger on it. I've smelt it before but not a pee

Have called my MW and the centre she works at and no one is picking up the phone, grrrr! So annoying.

My wee smells a bit funny and strong smelling and did last time I was pregnant. Sometimes it smells a bit sugar puffy. I had a GTT that came back normal and just assume this is another symptom of pregnancy.

PS I have the sense of smell of a super hero so it might be a combination of heightened sense of smell and smellier wee!

Actually, looking it up, it couldn't have been ketone I was smelling (that is to do with diabetes, so something else.) Whatever it was, it smelled a bit of a dry white wine. Chardonnay with a hint of melon. (No, I hadn't been drinking).

Seen the GP, I have a UTI. Five days worth of antibiotics given.

Blood work back, all clear no diabetes. No sugar in my pee either, so good stuff

Phew! Glad it is something straight forward. :)
