35 Weeks, Lots of Pressure Down Under

Hi, I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and my bump is really low down (has been for a while) and I'm feeling lots of pressure and some pain down below (mainly at the front although sometimes at the back too). Every time the baby moves it feels like its jumping on my cervix and is really uncomfortable and sometimes painful. Is anyone else experiencing anything similar? I'm actually wondering if all this means the baby will come early.

I'm not currently pregnant but I remember feel like that towards the end of both of my pregnancies. Dd2 was SO low and there was so much pressure that I was half convinced she'd fall out if I sneezed! But I went to 39 weeks in the end. Very quick labour though.

I'm 32+3 and getting this on and off too. It's horrid isn't it? Feels like baby is doing Riverdance on my cervix quite often and I end up jumping/wincing in public. Like you I have a low bump.

I was just googling (sigh..I know!) this myself. I feel like something is going to fall out of the nether regions. Was too scared to stand up earlier! The SPD probably isn't helping but really regretting not doing my pelvic floor exercises yet (33+5). Is it common to not reach due date if you feel like this?

Thanks everyone, good to know I'm not alone. Like you QUOD, I keep jumping every time it happens, to the point where my DH is getting annoyed at my sudden leaps and yelps (yes, you try it, see how you like it!). Went for a walk today and also felt like my entire pelvic floor was about to fall out. Been doing pelvic floor exercises this time as I didn't last time and ended up with urine incontinence (the joys) towards the end, so that was a definite incentive to do them this time. Everyone I meet comments on how low my bump is (why do people feel the need to constantly comment on you when you're preg?). Hoping I don't go early as I feel really unprepared and my DH has just started a new job and hasn't discussed/confirmed time off yet.

Its always been quite normal for me, makes the constipation really rather nerve wracking

Hi there, I have this too and my obstetrician said I am 3/5 engaged, so it's possible your baby is also engaged. My obs said it means the baby could come anytime (I'm 34+4) but having googled it a few times, plenty of women go full term having been engaged for weeks prior to going into labour apparently.
If concerned call triage, but it doesn't sound like anything to worry about.

Mine was breech last week and feels like it is still changing position so not too concerned that it is locked and loaded early!

I've had this for weeks, it gets worse on a night when i lay down. I'm due today and still no baby!
