Burning sensation along scar

I'm 23wks pregnant with DC3. My last delivery, just over two years ago, was a section. It healed perfectly with no problems. Early in this pregnancy I got little twanging/pinchy feelings along it but these were not at all uncomfortable.

For the last three days I've had a burning/stinging sensation right along the length of the scar, it's worse at the right hand side but pretty uncomfortable right along it.

Has anyone has this? Is it just growing pains?

I generally have a lot of burning sensations in bump (not on a scar) and midwife just said it's stretching pains. It's probably made worse by the fact that it's a relatively new scar. Try gently massaging it

Not quite the same but I have an appendix scar which at times gets quite painful (plus rest of my bump gets itchy/sore).

I asked my mw and she said it's everything stretching and scar tissue moving.

I find a cool tummy cream helps (I use Mum to be)

My c section scar from 2 years ago looks really stretched now (I'm 35 weeks tomorrow). Am I the only one worried it's going to burst?

No, I'm worried about the same thing :o
