fanny daggers and a small blood spot?

35 weeks on Wednesday.
for 8 or 9 days I have been having sharp pains in my cervix(sometimes enough to make me gasp or cry out).
just been for a wee and when I wiped there was a very small spot of blood on the paper.
I have had no bleeding or spotting at all throughout this pregnancy.
what could this be and should I be concerned?

I would call mw, it could be nothing but better to check, it could be the beginning of your show x

Try not to worry but do give your midwife or maternity unit a call, pain and bleeding is something not to be ignored during pregnancy. Especially as you're still preterm.
