being induced right now..

hooked up to the IV and receiving antibitocs for strep b, had first cervix pill ripener about 3 hours ago and about to get the 2nd. Contractions are coming along nicely and not painful as yet. So far so good

Ooooh, good luck! Induction can be a bit boring, especially if you have an epidural, so you have no excuse not to update us :o

Shelly not due to strep b, but since I'm 40 weeks today and been contracting consistently since Tuesday, just needed help to dilate

Had 2 of the ripening pills on my cervix, and waters just been broken but in no pain from the contractions, been warned they'll get worse since waters have gone, but so far so good

now to try and have a wee nap..

Good luck! Hope all goes well for you I'm 6 days overdue with baby no 1 got 2nd sweep tomorrow if that fails am being booked into hospital to be induced on Friday hope the sweep works! Xx

I'm hoping you've had the baby by now and enjoying those snuggles! I was induced with my first, and the whole process took 15 hours.

snuggling a yummy scrummy 9lb2oz little big girl, all turned out amazing in the end, but had some hairy moments! will update properly after a night of zeds (or staring at a cute bundle of cheekiness)
