Hi I am 36+2 and have been in breech since at least 29 weeks. I have an ECV booked for next wednesday. The hospital are keen for me to have an ECV even though I have read it is more difficult with an anterior placenta. The registrar says there is a 50% chance of it working. I have spoken to my GP regarding the procedure today and they are suppried they want to go ahead with it and think the success rate we have been quoted is very optimistic. We are very anxious after having a late miscarriage last year and would prefer a natural birth but i'm not sure what to do now and would be grateful for any advice.

I am sorry I don't know. It seems pretty harsh odds. What options are there abailable?

Hope someone who knows more comes along
