I'm 17+3 weeks pg and since yesterday have felt really crappy. This has included most of the early symptoms for a cold but without the snot and sore throat. I've got sore skin, achy muscles & joints, permanent headache and feeling nauseas every now and then. Just to move and even go to the toilet is a lot of effort Sad I just want to cry but dh has said about me seeing our gp as he's worried about the baby too. Any suggestions or help?!

Sorry you are feeling crappy. Thanks

I'm 32+5 and have just started being sick again, it always feels a million times worse when you are pregnant.

It sounds like general pregnancy aches and pains but if you are both worried call your GP to check.

In the meantime, look after yourself, have a nice hot soak in the bath and get plenty of liquids/sleep and hopefully you will start feeling better soon! My best weeks were 20-27 so fingers crossed you will start feeling better and more energetic soon. x

Are you eating and drinking enough k8eee? Try to up your fluid intake and eat some high energy foods, give it 24 hours and if you still feel run down pop to the GP and ask to be checked for iron levels, bladder infections and anything else they can do. Hope you feel better soon.

Sounds viral to me like you said a cold/throat bug starting. It's likely nothing to worry about.
Take some paracetamol, up to 4 times a day, (they are very safe to take). Drink plenty of fluids. Have a bath and go to bed. Get your other half to sort out some comfort food too.
Hope you feel better soon.
