hi ladies i was wondering has anyone done this near their due date to help induce labour did it work for you ? also how many sessions do you need i know nothings fool proof but ive found a place in town and considoring trying this nearer the time any info appreciated thanks :)

I had three sessions before DD (fourth session was cancelled due to her arrival!). They claimed it would help with a speedy opening of cervix and make me more relaxed. I'm not convinced it made much difference to me, but I didn't really enjoy it as much as I thought I would. It wasn't as relaxing as a massage or a nice bath Smile

Have you ever had it before for something else?

thanks for that info baby nope never tried before i was wondering if it is worth it really a massage actually sounds heaven though that i shall def keep in mind the acup is not very expensive £20 a session but i am wanting something relaxing so might not be the route to go down after all your right a bath to relax in is nice to esp in peace lol Grin
