He's here!! Grin
Born 10.30pm yesterday after a labour nothing like my plan (typical!) but bonus in that didn't need induction, did however need 3rd degree tear surgery at 1am. By then my body was most definitely public so actually didn't bother me, feel like I've tried a fabulous array of drugs (gas /air, pethidine or spinal anyone?) 1-5cm hurt, 5-9 passed in a happy sleepy haze, and the last bit was frankly so old school it would have been on my horror list if only I'd made one.
Sat in bed in hospital now with little man on my chest and a sleepy husband beside me. So very happy Smile x

I think he'll be a Reuben, Dh had ponder time whilst I was in surgery and love that he was so proud of his suggestion

Mogz · 17/10/2013 06:39

Huge congratulations Mustard, glad everyone is well (if a little sore!), Reuben is a gorgeous name.

holstenlips · 17/10/2013 07:05

Congratulations to you all !! How lovely to wake up to :-) xx

WhispersOfWickedness · 17/10/2013 07:08

Congratulations Grin Thanks
Reuben is a gorgeous name, I know one whose nickname is Roo Smile

mustardtomango · 17/10/2013 07:11

Exactly what I was thinking! Roo as baby, rube for trendy twenties or whatever, and then a classic to revert to when he does something profound in his later years Wink

mirren3 · 17/10/2013 07:26

Oh, well done...my sister when she had her first son announced his name and said how good it would look on his office when he was a lawyer. Cue 19 years later and he's training to be an outdoors sports teacher. Reuben is lovely, enjoy him!

holstenlips · 17/10/2013 07:27

Is he gorgeous :-) (silly question)
