20 week scan query

Hi

I have my 20 week scan coming up fairly soon. I know that they check a wide range of things for anomalies. I wondered if the sonographer tells you what the results are, or do you have to wait to go get the explanation from the midwife in the next appointment?

The sonographer should explain everything at the scan itself.

If anything is of a concern, your normally told on the day.

My sonographer explained wha she was looking for as she went along, and then at my next appointment with the MW we went through what it all meant. Hope your scan goes well.
