Sorry, nasty personal Q, I know, but does anyone else find their need for a bowel movement is signalled by sudden really painful cramps apparently coming from their womb, together with a horrendous bout of nausea and sometimes a headache? I'm 5 weeks and this has just started happening. I have neither diarrhoea nor constipation; in fact, everything is normal bar the urge coming on very suddenly and painfully... Blush

My friend described them as "period poos"- do you ever get similar on the first day of your period? Because I do. Maybe it's hormonal?

I'm the same Morgs: when the warning comes, I need to run Hmm. It's only just started in earnest today, which is fine as I'm off work, but I dread this happening at work - I don't have the sort of job where I can just drop everything and run...

Blackholes : I can see what you mean, but for me I just go more frequently the day before my period; I don't get this horribly painful sudden urge.
