I'm 25 weeks pregnant haveing felt unwell for a few days and after haveing a small of bleeding i went to the doctors on friday he took a urine sample and i've been told i have protein in my urine i've got to have bloods done tomorrow but i have no idea what this means i'm on my own so have no one to talk to i'm really scared that something maybe wrong x

I didn't want to read and run. Obviously every case is different but my midwife found protein in my urine afew times over my last pregnancy. It was nothing serious I did have an infection (the protein flagged this up) at one point and had to have some antibiotics.
Can you you call your midwife for reassurance & to ask her advice?

Try not to worry the doctor might be being extra cautious because they are not experts in pregnancies. And if they were really concerned they would have sent you straight to the hospital.

I'm sure someone will come along with more advice soon.

I've just moved into temp houseing so don't actually have a midwife yet i'm still waiting for them to allocate one, i have a 9 year old son who lives with his dad but that pregnancy was so different i felt wonderfull all the way through no problems this time around i've felt awfull at 25 weeks i'm still haveing trouble with morning sickness and i'm so tired i know i'm probable being daft but i really am scared my family all think i'm mad for wanting to keep the baby and tried to convince me to have a termination obviously I
didn't but it means i have no support from them either i just don't no what to do
