Coping strategies for comfort?

It sounds silly and maybe a minor problem, but for the last few days baby's foot (or something) has been digging into my rib. I'm a student, I'm 27+5 weeks and baby has decided to make all my lectures really uncomfortable. I know it's only going to get worse, so how does everyone cope with this?
I've tried rubbing my tummy where he is, seeing if he'll decide to move but it doesn't always work. :/
It's the only reason my concentration levels drop in lectures. :/

Oof, mine decided to do that too, it was certainly uncomfortable. Have you tried leaning yourself to one side or the other to get the baby to move round (they treat the uterus like a hammock) or giving the little one a proper jab? Not much more you can do as baby is going to decide where it is comfiest.
It might not get worse though, as he'll change position as he gets bigger and should stop interfering with your studies!

Sorry to hear you're uncomfortable. I feel exactly the same at 28+4 Wks. I have to stand up and move around a lot, even during the night. I tell my DH not to make me laugh as it hurts too much. I can't find many solutions Smilexxx

I've had this for about 6 weeks! It's awful isn't it. I find it's worse when I'm sat down and hunched up, especially in the car. All I can suggest is try sitting forward so your pelvis is tilted so you're not pushing baby upwards. Fingers crossed baby moves for us soon!

FraggerRock - at least your DH laughs! My DP doesn't find it so funny when I use him to move myself around on the sofa or in bed - I have on more than one occasion accidentally put my weight into my hand pushing on rather uncomfortable places for him!

As I'm writing this baby has decided he shall put some pretty intense pressure into my rib, :/ :(
And I can no longer sleep without a bra on at night as my boobs are literally a milk tap that won't stop leaking!
Roll on January!!
