What were your UTI symptoms?

Last week my bladder suddenly developed a hair-trigger sensitivity and I found myself needing to wee every 5 mins and leaking between visits.

I assumed it was a weird pregnancy thing, but then read recently that weeing more can be a symptom of a UTI?
I haven't had any pain while going or any lower back pain.

Ladies, what were your UTI symptoms?
Am I just being a worry wart?

Other than back pain, I also felt like I couldn't empty my bladder fully when I did go, and felt like I needed the loo all the time, even when I'd just been.

How far gone are you? When is your next midwife appointment? Needing to pee a lot more is very common in pregnancy.

And my next MW appt is, I assume, at 24/5 weeks.

Hi. I had a few uti's during my pregnancies. My only symptom was having to pee a lot. It sounds like you have one. Go to your doctor as it is important to treat a UTI as soon as possible when pregnant.

It doesn't take long to be tested for it, so it's worth doing if you're worried.

Frequent urination - may be painful if infection is lower down in your urinary tract.

Urine may be darker/thicker/smellier than usual.

Lower back pain or lower abdo pain.

Fever

(If in your kidneys and pretty bad): dizziness, vomiting, vertigo, feeling faint, agonising lower back pain, nausea, confusion, tiredness

Best get checked out - nowt to lose

I think all is well, but if anything changes I'll definitely take a sample down and insist on a check out :)
