In retrospect I should have kept schtum and not told my employer that I was pregnant. My first 6 month contract with the company draws to a close and I'm told I will no longer be needed due to a staff 'reshuffle'. It was supposed to be a permanent role. Nice. Now I'm 19 weeks into my pregnancy and looking for a fresh start as Mr Piccola does not earn enough for us both to live on. Feeling bitter, yes, but I just want to get out there and keep going! Has anyone else found themselves in a similar position?

We had restructuring at work so I waited until I had my new contract before telling them I was pregnant. No doubt they'd would just have made me redundant had they known.

no advice except maybe see if you can do some temping work?
