Soo... I'm being induced tomorrow!!

excited - I've been leaking small amounts of discharge constantly over the last week. At my last GD appt on weds. the scan showed that the fluid around the baby had halved from the scan two weeks before.

I'm 38+4 and they weren't sure if it was my waters slowly leaking or not and they said the pros of inducing far outweighed the risk of infection.

I'd forgotten to mention to them that during the night before I'd heard a plop when on the loo but it was dark and I couldn't see if there was blood or anything there. I blinded myself when I turned the light on so just went back to bed. If could've been my plug!

It feels like Christmas Eve. I'm in bed waiting to feel sleepy but can't!

How far along are you? Why do you want to be induced?

I had the gel done at 10am and things seem to be progressing.

I'm having lots of tightening period like cramps across the front of my pelvis. Not sure if these are proper contractions though.

They are going to monitor the baby on the ctg at 15:30 and monitor progress etc!!

Good luck! That's how my contractions started, like one long period pain. They let me get in the bath and it really helped. I had the drip soon after and had my baby 4 hours later! Hope it goes quickly

Labour ward got busy so they couldn't take me round to break my waters. They broke naturally at about 8;45 and I was holding my beautiful baby girl at 10:35 last night at an amazing 6 lbs 6 1/2 oz.

Only had gas and air and had a small tear so have 5 stitches. So far not too painful. Well we shall see when I'm moving around.

One very happy lady although I didn't get out on a ward until 3am and haven't slept yet. Still delirious!!
