Sad

I am so annoyed with my skin.

I have sensitive skin, but usually it's just a little tight and dry, and sometimes in the winter I get little patches of eczema at my elbows and behind my knees, but not much.

Well, a few days after I got my BFP I came out in a rash all over my breasts, across the whole breast, not just around the nipples. It's not overly itchy, but it's rather unsightly and almost looks like something between eczema and hives, as the colouring resembles my eczema, but the splotches are more like raised weals.. But not really itchy.

Anyways, this weekend it has started to spread down my torso a bit and some tiny splotches have appeared on my stomach. It's not bothering me except for the fact it makes me feel un-sexy Confused

Has anyone else experienced anything like this in early pregnancy? I'm still only just 5+5 and have no real other symptoms..

I got a delightful full body rash for a few weeks at the end of my first trimester, then it hung around my belly and thighs for a ood few weeks more. My midwife said it wasn't uncommon and can be related to hormones and changes to oils and such that your pores are producing.
If its bothering you have a word with your GP, or midwife if you have been booked in, and see if there's anything they can give you, or advise you to do to make it to away.
Congratulations on your pregnancy btw Smile

Hi wispa I had a. Rash that was on my stomach & boobs in first trimester. If I remember rightly it wasn't itchy at first but then became so. I rang midwife for advice who told me it was normal & suggested creams for it. I used diprobase cream on it which really worked its just an emollient so not harmful & you can get it over the counter at chemist although I got it prescribed so I didn't have to pay!

I'd suggest checking with your midwife or GP & see what they say.
Hope it clears up soon.

Thanks, I've seen the GP to get a referral to the midwife, but not heard from the midwife yet. I've just made a GP appt for tomorrow, though.
