Advice regarding Discharge (sorry for tmi)

Last night as I stood up I felt what I can only describe as a popping down below and then had quite a bit of discharge. No pain or anything just a strange feeling like tightening across my bump.
Then today I have used panty liners all day and they are all wet when I take them off. It's not enough to soak through to my knickers but making everything feel damp. I'm worried as to what it could be, had anyone else had this or know what it could be??
Any advice would be great as I can't get in touch with my midwife as I only have the surgery number and they aren't open at weekends and as baby is moving (a lot more than usual) I don't want to be bothering the hospital.
Sorry I should have said I am 33+5 weeks.
Thanks in advance. X

Hi, I might be completely wrong but if that happened to me I'd think it was my waters breaking and leaking. I'm currently 41+2 and looking out for things exactly like what you describe.
Can you smell the liquid and try to work out if it smells a bit sweet like waters apparently do?
I think you should definitely get seen asap, though other wiser women may advise whether this is Sunday-night urgent or Monday-morning urgent. Your hospital's labour ward will be open so maybe call them tonight?

And meant to say GOOD LUCK!!!

I'd ring the hospital as it may well have been your waters breaking, in fact ue put money on it. Once they have done so the risk of infection gets higher and you need to be monitored to check baby is ok. You mention more movement than normal which needs to be checked right away as baby might be distressed.
Please don't panic bt do ring them now and get seen to as soon as possible.

Plus, as you had earlier concerts with early labour like symptoms it would best be safe than sorry.
Best of luck, hope all is well.

Hi ladies. I rang my midwife this morning as I fell asleep last night. It doesn't smell if anything so she has told me to keep an eye on it and if it gets heavier or soaks a proper pad to call her straight away.
I had steroid injections two weeks ago so they wouldn't give me another lot yet anyway so I think that has encouraged her to let me stay at home.
I am just going to rest for today and see how it goes but will call back if any concerns at all.
Thanks for all your responses xx
