9 weeks and two random sharp cramps moving down from just below ribs to pelvis

hi, bit confused by earlier this evening.

I am 8 + 5 days and have eaten a lot of food today but that's not unusual!!

I had two totally random big cramp-y sharp pains like a cramp or a stitch run down the whole length of stomach to the very bottom of my stomach. This was maybe about a half hour after my meal when I laid down to read our toddler a story.

the sharpness was sort of a wide pain going across my body but down at the same time like a horizontal line going down.

what could this have been? nothing else symptom wise to report, no spotting, no nausea apart from the odd retching or low level nausea that appears every other day or so.

Was it just an expanding uterus and a full stomach?

thanks.

I got very sharp pains quite alot with my first. Like two lines down the front of the abdomen? I imagine it was round ligament stretching. My midwife said if it goes away and is not accompanied by bleeding then not to worry, and in fact everything was fine. Hasn't been as bad this time.
