Hello everyone,

I am 36 weeks and for the last month or so I have had very high levels of protein in urine (2/3 ++s)
but have no other symptoms of pre-eclampsia.
Obviously i have been going to hospital frequently, but i just wondered what the protein actually did to your body, the only one i can find info about is pre eclampisa.

TIA xkoshkax

The protein doesn't do anything it can be a sign that of infection or that that the kidneys are not clearing effectively enough which can be the case in pre eclampsia.
