30 weeks- abdominal cramps but not like labour pain

So frustrating- caught a tummy bug off my son and was up all last night with diorreah and vomiting. They have stopped now, but am getting sporadic but very severe cramping pains high up. Feels to be above where the baby is, more in my stomach (which is currently residing between my ribs).

Spoken to the labour suite to check, and they said sounds like aftermath of the bug, which is what it feels like, but nhs helpline are saying I should go in to be assessed. Don't know what to do for the best- gut instinct is that it isn't baby-related, so would rather stay in my own bed to recuperate, but equally don't want to take any silly risks.

Don't suppose anyone else has experience of anything similar?

I've had quite a lot of tummy cramping this pregnancy, and it's always been bowel related. It's been particularly bad after bouts of upset stomach

But, you can't be too careful with pregnancy. If you're really worried then call the midwives again.
