Can anyone share their experiences on losing this and how it related to the onset of labour?

I lost some a couple of weeks ago, a good amount yesterday and then even more again today (very slightly blood tinged today) . Can I dare to hope labour is imminent yet? Am 36 weeks but midwives reckon my dates are out and am a couple of weeks further on.

Thanks info advance

I had my bloody show about 10 days ago and have lost mucus almost every day since. I'm now 38+2.

Sorry!

I lost mine at about 1pm and had my son at 1.40am the following morning. Giving hope where I can!!!

My first pregnancy and contractions started immediately after losing the plug, every 10 minutes and this went on for nearly 12-15 hours and then suddenly the frequency became less, contractions every 4-5 minutes for longer periods. Baby boy born after 26 hours of losing the plug!

Started loosing mine very very early. Around 26ish weeks. Was only now an again though at first. And just got more n more over following weeks. Started loosing heavy blood streaked show at 36wks then at 37+6 lost a huge palm sized one n started bleeding shortly after. Had him at 38wks. Mucus plug can regenerate though, but blood stained is usually progress. Everything an everyone is different. He was my 3rd. My second son I started loosing it around 30wks and bloodstained from 37 he was born 40+5. So I just loose it early in my case lol x
