Is this MS?

Oh dear

I'm 6+5 and have had no ms except mild nausea when I haven't eaten for a while... easily sorted out by sweets or toast Grin

However this morning I got up, hadn't eaten anything, was making bed and faffing around cleaning etc. I crouched down to unplug something and when I stood up I felt really really sick - like I was actually about to throw up. I stood for a moment and it continued, so I trotted to the bathroom and hung over the loo. Nothing. It got slightly better, so I sipped some water and ate toast but I still feel like I'm going to hurl and I have to go to work (on the bus!) really soon Sad

Not really asking any questions here, just sharing my misery I suppose. I am really bad with sick, and have only thrown up twice in my adult life (both alcohol related) and REALLY don't want MS, partly because no one knows I'm pg!

aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh

6 weeks is usually when my morning sickness starts (has done for both pregnancies). Both times I haven't been sick (although still time with this one!), but have had terrible nausea just like you describe so it may never progress to being sick. Fingers crossed for you. What has always helped me is not letting my stomach get too empty so eating more, but smaller meals and/or supplementing with snacks.

Congrats moobaloo! Thanks

As Jammie said its best to try and eat little and often. I no longer have a big meal with my dh but half the portion I would've had before pg. I think every mum to be hates the sickness, but if I'm honest I've got used to it and have learnt how to deal with it. I'm nearly 16 weeks pg, and I think the sickness is finally easing off but my appetite is nothing. I have to make myself sick if I feel nauseas but this is only really of a morning. Sorry if it's TMI but the best way I find it working is by brushing my teeth and then scrubbing my tongue with the toothbrush which I have always done but it tends to make me gag and I end up puking. Also, I always do it before I eat or drink anything so as it's just stomach acid coming up and no food.

I hope you start feeling better soon, but this is the start of the sickness hopefully for just a month or two! It'll be worth it xx
