Last bits before baby arrives

When do people do the last bits of organisation before baby arrives?

Setting up steriliser, un boxing bottles, washing bedding and so on?

I'm 35 + 3 and I have my c section booked in for 39 weeks and I'm so bored Sad
House has been scrubbed out, hospital bags have been packed and unpacked god knows how many times, pram is set up, car seat is fitted, changing unit and swing are both set up and iv bought everything.
I need more to do and I'm desperate to organise.
What more can I do?
What are you other mums to be doing to keep you from going insane?

Cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning.

I hate cleaning.

Have you batch cooked meals for the freezer? Super useful when baby arrives. Also, set up online shopping with your usual list too in case you don't fancy going out for a while, especially as you won't be able to carry shopping or drive for a while.
Good luck!

I've got some admin that needs doing, how are you with excel spreadsheets?

Sit back, read a book or five, watch films, relax, enjoy your last freely-flowing, uninterrupted free time for the next year, at least.

On line shopping set up, all bills arranged to be paid by DD, full freezer, hair cut.

Now get out and enjoy your least days of freedom!

You will never get this time again. It is super-frustrating and I know exactly how you feel, but you really must try to make the most of your freedom now! Do fun stuff that is just for you. Including making a cup of tea and being able to drink it before it goes cold.

Swap you! As I'm only 6+5 and no one knows about it I'm working 3 jobs over 6 days a week and doing a diploma. I'M SO TIRED.

However I have thought about the last few weeks, and I definitely want to have a full freezer and fridge, a nice easy haircut so I can feel smart and a spotless home, can't wait!

Relax and Enjoy op xx

Just chill out! I am 38+5, house is a mess, none of the baby stuff is ready yet from DC1 as haven't yet got anywhere to move her stuff which is filling up the nursery cupboards! Haven't packed a hospital bag yet. It'll be fine. Just put your feet up, read a book and watch TV! xx

Get some box sets and lie on the sofa watching them all. Meet friends for coffee. Cook stuff for the freezer. Clean clean clean. MN.
