Is it normal to feel exceptionally tired at 39 week's and wonder how on earth I can push this baby out when I do Go in to Labour. I had cramps this morning thought ok great here we go had a shower then by the time I dried my hair I fell asleep for an hour I felt so exhausted when actually I should have went for a walk to get things going. This is my second so toddler running round too. Shouldn't my body. Be full of adrenalin when Labour begins?

Adrenalin is exactly what you dont want when you go into labour. Oxytocin, the hormone which brings on contractions, is actually inhibited by adrenalin. You will get through it though :) I am 38+2 and bloody knackered. I cant sleep at night, so so tired... keep thinking I dont know how I will be able to get through it, but we will, once it all starts up for real :)

Yes, it is normal to feel like that. I found that, before I went into labour with DD2, I had the best night's sleep for weeks and suddenly had more energy. You can do it!
