Hi, I have that topshop dress, it's cream with black polka dots in a size 10. Does anyone know how much I could sell it for now I'm done with it? And where is the best place to sell it? I usually just give everything away to charity but thought I might as well try to make a bit of money on this!

Thanks x

There's a few on eBay, why not see how much they go for?

Will do thanks!

I would hang on to it. SHe's bound to be up the duff again shortly and will wear it again then you can sell it as super-rare and 'of the moment'

Do you think she'll keep her maternity wear? I didn't keep mine from my 1st pregnancy and I'm not even royalty! I just wonder if someone would be that bothered that a celeb wore something that they'd pay over the odds! I paid £35 for it before she wore it and before I was even showing. It was my MIL who said that Kate had it when she saw me in it! I was like who's Kate?! Duh! x

I don't know why people would buy it but they might do. People are frankly v odd.

I think she will keep it and reuse it though. She does that a lot.

I sold most of my maternity wear on eBay for more than I paid for it. TopShop stuff sells stupidly well. Even better if seen on someone famous.

MummyJetsetter · 02/10/2013 21:08

I just remember hearing about it selling out within hours of her being pictured in it.

You can search for "completed listings" on ebay to see what others have sold for... It's one of the refine choices..

Thanks fairy. Just checked an one went for £40, another £25 and it was £35 new. Suppose it's not bad as most 2nd hand clothes would go for much less than the price new.
