Shes been to the hospital and has a scan on Friday.

Her husband is a twunt and they had a massive arguement on Sunday and today her car blew up today... could stress be causing the bleeding?

She is so excited. She would be devestated if she loses this baby... she M/C last year. Shes 42

Could it be anything other than an M/C?

Shes already picked names....

could just be a general bleed happens to a lot of people. In pg with ds and this baby I have had bleeds at 9wks.

Oh sorry for your mom
Bleeding doesn't always equal mc ,i bled on/off when pregnant with dd1,it is very worrying though.
Hope all is ok.

I was hoping you would say that.

Does age factor in M/C rates?

i bled a bit at about 9 weeks, on and off for 5 days, things were fine and my dd is 15 months now, hope all is well with your mum.

WIshing your Mum well.....yes, unfortunately m/c rates are a lot higher over 40. But it doesn't necessarily mean it is one - I had bleeding with dd at 6 and 10 weeks, but it tailed off after a day and she is now 2.5.
Fingers crossed for her - I only became a Mum in my 40s, am rooting for her extra hard!
